Solana Mobile’s Seeker Phone Ships Aug. 4 with New Web3 Features

Solana Mobile’s Seeker

Solana Mobile, a subsidiary of Solana Labs, has announced key details about its next-generation Seeker Web3 smartphone, including its August 4, 2025, ship date, a new trustless architecture (TEEPIN), and a native ecosystem token (SKR).

Seeker: Solana’s Second Web3 Phone

Following the Saga phone (launched April 2023), the Seeker is Solana Mobile’s highly anticipated second device, unveiled in September 2024. The company has already pre-sold 150,000 unitsacross two pricing phases:

  • Founder Window: $450 per device
  • Early Adopter Window: $500 per device

At the lower price point, Solana Mobile could generate $67.5million gross revenue, unlike traditional giants like Apple, which reported $199.3 billion in Iphone revenue in 2024.

Introducing TEEPIN: A Trustless Mobile Architecture

Solana Mobile’s new TEEPIN (Trusted Execution Environment Platform Infrastructure Network) is a three-layer architecture (hardware, platform, network) designed to enable trustless participation for users, developers, and device makers.

Anatoly Yakovenko, Solana Labs CEO, called it:

“The next evolution in mobile… where trust is verified by cryptography.”

SKR Token: Powering the Solana Mobile Ecosystem

The company also revealed plans for SKR, the native token of the Solana Mobile ecosystem. Emmett Hollyer, GM of Solana Mobile, stated:

“It transforms the traditional mobile business model by giving stakeholders actual ownership in the platform.”

With Seeker shipments starting August 4, Solana Mobile aims to expand Web3 mobile adoption, backed by TEEPIN’s security and SKR’s incentive model.
